Get a lot better grades second semester and get to at least median. If median is 3.3, and you have a 3.1, you can get it up there if you work hard and get good grades. In all seriousness, I would not worry about vibe unless you’re deciding between two extremely similar schools at identical price (USC vs UCLA for ex) or if it had an extreme reputation a la Baylor.
